Effective February 2002
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your
privacy we provide this notice explaining our online
information practices and the choices you can make about
the way your information is collected and used. It is
our general policy to collect and store only personal
information that our members and visitors knowingly
provide.
Generally, we collect from visitors:
- The e-mail addresses of those
who communicate with us via e-mail or who subscribe
to our e-mail lists.
- Information from your browser,
including your IP address and the page you visited,
which is recorded in our web site server logs. This
data is analyzed internally to determine how to best
provide information to visitors to our web site. No
personal information is collected during the tracking
process, only aggregate data -- such as the number
of hits per page.
- Information volunteered by
the consumer such as purchase information.
From Members, Associate Members
and Forum Partners:
- To gain access to Members-
or Partners-only resources, these users may be asked
to provide some limited information. These data are
submitted voluntarily. Name, organization name, business
phone and e-mail may be requested through the web
site. Similar information may be submitted to the
Donors Forum through membership applications, conference
or seminar registrations or publication orders.

to handle our online payment services. When you purchase
publications from the Forum's web site, your personal

practices. For a full description, please read PayPal's

information exchanges on this site, this privacy statement
applies.
- To improve the content and
usability of our web site and e-commerce functions.
- To notify consumers about
updates to our web site, services and other products.
- We do not share the information
collected with any individual or other organizations.
- The Donors Forum makes Member,
Associate Member and Forum Partner contact information
available through the online membership directory
to other Members, Associate Members and Forum Partners
and incorporates that information into the printed
copy of the directory, available only to Members.
- For those who voluntarily
submit information to subscribe to mailing lists,
