Orientation to the Collection

The Donors Forum Library and Philanthropy Centers offer many tools and resources on philanthropy and nonprofits. To learn how to use these resources, attend one of our free orientations.

Locations
For your convenience, we offer five locations throughout the region:

Donors Forum Library - Orientation (DF)
Learn how to use the Library's extensive collection to get the information you need. We offer orientations every other Tuesday from Noon - 1:30 pm. Upcoming orientation dates are:

  • May 27
  • June 10
  • June 24

  • Hands-on tutorial of the FC Search and Illinois Funding Source databases

Suburban Philanthropy Centers - Orientation
An introduction to the resources and services available at one of our suburban Philanthropy Centers. This session allows optional practice time afterward. Topics:

  • Prospect research process
  • Overview of resources for fundraising and nonprofit management
  • Hands-on tutorial of Illinois Funding Source, WealthEngine.com and FC Search databases
