A REGISTRATION FORM
February - April, 2010 | Donors Forum Large Conference
Room (Suite 1535)
For both new and experienced grantmakers, Donors Forum offers
this unique professional development program. This popular
program is updated each year based on Member feedback and
national resources, and provides a comprehensive look at the
critical elements involved in the practice of responsible
grantmaking. The five-part series explores the grant cycle,
financial review, and evaluation issues, and will build a
community of grantmakers who rely upon and learn from the
experiences of their peers. The faculty, comprised of leaders
in Chicago's philanthropic community and experts in finance
and evaluation, will facilitate the session. Early-bird
rates have been extended until January 11, 2010! The second
registrant from an organization gets 50% off the price of
the first registration.

Wednesday, February 24 | Donors Forum Large Conference
Room | 3:30 - 6:30 pm program and reception
Join colleagues to build your familiarity with technology
resources and move toward even better communications, especially
with members of the next generation and those separated by
geographic dispersion; support greeing of operations to save
the environment, save money on printing, mailing, and travel

family foundation governance and administration, including
managing board relations and overseeing investment activity;
internal and external communications (such as family onlien
newsletters in private sections of the website, and grants
lists on public pages); and grantee relations through online
applications, reporting, and creating other means of sharing
for grantees.
Panelists will include Jim Barnes, The
Brinson Foundation; Annie Hernandez, The Lumpkin Family
Foundation; and Diana Spencer, William G. McGowan Charitable
Fund.
Time will be set aside for group discussion.
A reception follows the program. This program is free for
