What makes an event or program truly inclusive for people of all abilities? Effective communication to your varying audiences is vital to the success of any event or meeting. During this session, Robin Jones, Director of the Great Lakes ADA Center, will provide guidance on communication and event planning to ensure aural, visual and written content is accessible to all of your audience members.
 
The session will also cover assessments of webinar platforms, captioning options, American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter placement, audio description placement and many other components that are unique to each event. Suggested language to use in written and aural communications will also be provided.
 
Who should attend: Administrators, front line staff, event and meeting planners, and communications staff.
