The University of Chicago Consortium on Chicago School Research (UChicago CCSR) conducts rigorous research to inform and assess policy and practice in the Chicago Public Schools. They are currently in the process of establishing the research agenda which will govern their work for the next five years. The foundation community in Chicago has been a source of strong support for UChicago CCSR over many years; thus, they are inviting your input as they develop their next research agenda.

The research agenda identifies bodies of work that CCSR is likely to do, building on prior research, while also taking into account the types of research that are most likely to influence policy, practice and student outcomes. The process of developing the agenda is important in itself, as it provides an opportunity for CCSR to receive input from external stakeholders, while reflecting internally about new and continuing directions for its work.

Speakers from CCSR will include Elaine Allensworth, Jennifer Cowhy, Julia Gwynne, Jennie Jiang, and Shanette Porter.
