Tuesday, May 20 | The Union League Club of Chicago
| 65 W. Jackson Blvd., Room 700 | 3 - 5pm (reception
follows)
Co-sponsored by Donors Forum's Family Foundation Committee
and The Center for Jewish Philanthropy at The Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, this program is
designed for family foundations -- especially trustees
and members of the next generation -- and will feature
philanthropist Stephanie Yang, Principle of SYD
Consulting and author of Legacy and Innovation:
A Guidebook for Families on Social Change Philosophy.
Panelists will include Deborah Holloway, trustee,
The Seabury Foundation. Organizations and individuals
both experience life cycles and stages of development,
assuming different roles and responsibilities as time
passes. Bring multiple generations to this stimulating
conversation with colleagues who have begun to consider
what is needed to plan for the future. This session
builds on last fall's program where you found ideas
for involving the youngest family members in learning
about your philanthropic values, and will help you clarify
questions to ask and tactics to take in considering
how different generations' perspectives contribute to
the family's foundation leadership and legacy.
