If one of your contacts changes to a new organization, what is the best way to update your records to reflect the change while preserving historical information? How can GIFTS deal with contacts with multiple current affiliations, such as consultants? In this session, participants will analyze an assortment of scenarios involving changes to contacts and affilitations in GIFTS and look at the best ways to manage those changes. Public submit "puzzling" scenarios you've encountered to Margo Gray; the session organizers will then address these scenarios during the program.

2008 Retreat Summary
The group planned four sessions for the coming year: "Contacts & Affiliations," "Database Cleanup," "MicroEdge Demonstration," and a Peer Exchange. Ruth Crane completed her service as co-chair, and Deborah Clark was welcomed as new co-chair to work with continuing co-chair Sheila Robinson.
