Foundation, 515 N. State St., Chicago | Noon - 2 pm
(lunch provided)
What parts of a proposal draw the most attention from
different grantmakers? How do you translate the information
in a proposal into a rating or a recommendation to present
to your board? In this program, sponsored by Donors
Forum's Peer Network for New Grantmakers, participants
will be asked to present examples of proposal review
tools used by their institution, including grant applications,
follow-up reports, and internal documents that inform
grantmaking decisions. Participants will advance their
understanding of the different tools used and learn
how each foundations proposal review process leads
to grant recommendations. Space is limited; please
pre-register to reserve your spot.
