- Aparna Sharma will be a new
Program Officer at Chicago Foundation for Women starting
on May 5. Previously, she was the Senior Researcher at the
Center for Urban Research and Learning at Loyola University
Chicago.
- Regina Dixon-Reeves is the
new Education Program Officer at The Lloyd A. Fry Foundation.
Previously, she was an Administrator in the Office of High
School Programs at Chicago Public Schools.
- Charles Boesel is the new
Director of Communications at The Joyce Foundation.
Previously, he was Vice President of Corporate Communications
at CNA Financial Corporation. Also at Joyce, Molly Flanagan
is the new Environment Program Officer. Previously, she
was Program Manager of Great Lakes water resources at the
National Wildlife Federation.
- Patricia Lara Garza has left
her position as Associate Director, Corporate Affairs at
Kraft Foods North America. She will join Allstate
Corporation as the new Director, Strategic Philanthropy
on May 12.
- Andrea "Annie" Hernandez
Varbonov is the new Program Officer, Organization and
Leadership Development at The Lumpkin Foundation.
Previously, was Vice President of Leadership Ventures.
- Deepa Gupta is the new Program
Officer - General Program at The John D. and Catherine
T. MacArthur Foundation. Previously, she was a Senior
Associate at McKinsey and Co. Also at MacArthur, Christopher
Holtz is the new Asia Program Officer - Conservation
and Sustainable Development Program. Previously, he was
Asia Grant Director for the Critical Ecosystems Partnership
Fund. And, Gordon Wright is the new Electronic Communications
Specialist - Public Affairs Department. Previously, he was
Technology Coordinator for the Solo and Small Firm Division
of the American Bar Association.
- Sierra Collins-Jackson is
the new Assistant Grants Administrator at Polk Bros.
Foundation. Previously, Sierra worked 11 years at Donors
Forum, most recently as Nonprofit Services Coordinator.
- Jennifer Sublett is the new
Director of Donor and Public Relations at Sangamon County
Community Foundation. Previously, she was Director of
Development at Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County.
- Kim Jones is the new Business
Development Officer at ShoreBank. Previously, she
was Senior Manager of Individual Giving at Project Exploration.
- Jennifer Shimp is the new
Senior Manager-Grants and Operations at Steans Family
Foundation. Previously, she was Assistant Vice President,
Community Affairs at Harris Bank.
- Timothy Herwig has left his
position as Vice President of Community Affairs at TCF
Bank to assume the position of Community Affairs Liaison
for the Office for Thrift Supervision in its Central Region.
Forum Partners
- Catherine Painter is the
new Director of Development at Merit School of Music.
Previously, she was Associate Director of Development for
Major Gifts at The Latin School of Chicago.
Donors Forum
- Laurel O'Sullivan is the
new Senior Director, Public Policy at Donors Forum. Most
recently, she was Of Counsel/Great Lakes Campaign Coordinator
for the Natural Resources Defense Council in Washington,
D.C. She has also served as an attorney for the Alliance
for the Great Lakes in Chicago.
