Donors Forum Library and Philanthropy Centers
An essential tool in every grantseeker's toolbox is the Donors Forum's in-person research resources. These resources are housed in the downtown Chicago Donors Forum Library, as well as in its partner Philanthropy Centers in Glen Ellyn, Schaumburg, Chicago Heights, Grayslake and Quincy. These libraries are all open to the public and are wheelchair-accessible.

Locations, hours, collection information:
Donors Forum Library
Philanthropy Center (College of DuPage)
Northwest Suburban Philanthropy Center
South Metropolitan Philanthropy Center
Lake County Philanthropy Center
West Central Illinois Philanthropy Center

The Donors Forum Library contains more than 2,000 holdings including books, pamphlets, periodical articles and audiovisual materials and CD-ROM, focused primarily on philanthropy and private funding. It also provides access to several proprietary or subscription-based CD-ROM and online databases. Learn more about library services.

The Philanthropy Centers offer a subset of the information available in the Library in locations that are more convenient for some grantseekers.

The Donors Forum offers additional research services to its Forum Partners, especially reference assistance by telephone, email and fax. If you would like to enjoy this benefit, consider joining the Donors Forum.
