Directory of Funding in Illinois, Eleventh Edition ($)

The Eleventh Edition of Directory of Funding in Illinois is the most complete print listing of foundations and corporate giving programs that fund organizations and programs in Illinois. If you are a nonprofit organization, you will use this unique publication in your communications and grantseeking with foundations and corporations. If you are a grantmaker, it will serve as a useful reference; for example, as a guide to colleagues working in the same funding areas.

The Eleventh Edition represents a new national partnership with Foundation Center. The data in the Directory is based on profiles in the Foundation Center's database, Foundation Directory Online. Foundations are researched using the newest and most complete information available. The information is either provided by the foundation staff, or it comes from available public records. The main source of information is the IRS returns for private and community foundations (forms 990 and 990-PF). Other public sources of information include updates from foundation websites, annual reports, press releases, and newspaper articles.

By partnering with Foundation Center, we are able to offer new information in the Eleventh Edition -- for the first time, we include information on funders who make grants in Illinois, even if they are not geographically located in Illinois.
