Capitalization: “The financial resources an organization needs to fulfill its mission over time.”

Conversations with Nonprofits on Capitalization and Community is designed to engage local arts and cultural nonprofit leaders in a dialogue about working with board, staff, and funders to achieve stronger financial health and vibrancy. The workshop provides a shared vocabulary between granters and grantees in hopes to deepen our knowledge and inform our organizations’ financial practices. This candid discussion underscores the importance of planning and employing strategies to ensure organizations have the resources needed to fulfill their missions.

Participation by two or more board and senior staff members is strongly encouraged.
